Introduced in 2023, route 206 runs between Nottingham and Long Eaton every 30 minutes Monday to Saturday. It is duplicated from Nottingham as far as Toton Corner by the 207 to provide a combined 15 minute frequency along the majority of its length.

 

Although the corridor from the city to Beeston and Long Eaton is already well-served by buses, the 206 provides an alternative route with direct links to Beeston and Nottingham railway stations, the Boots factory site, Riverside Retail Park and new housing development on Thane Road.

Operations on the 206 are a 66/33% split between Robertson Buses and Smith's of Nottingham, with tickets from both companies accepted on all 206s. The route can be served by a mix of single and double decker buses.
