Robertson Buses Fleet

Fleet numbering was previously on a first-come first-served basis with each new entry to the fleet gaining the next number up. However, throughout 2023 the fleet was partly renumbered, with the main change being the re-engined Pointer Darts moving from their old ad-hoc numbers to a new 3-digit block. This has created some gaps and any new vehicles entering the fleet will be, where possible, given numbers in series with similar vehicles.

 

As it stands the system is (roughly) as follows:

1 to 19 - old system

20 to 22 - electric buses

25 to 31 - misc double deck

32 to 34 - old system cont'd

35 to 39 - misc saloon

51 to 54 - reserved for Scania double deck

81 to 84 - reserved for more coaches

99 - loan vehicle

101 to 112 - Enviro Dart

'S' prefix - ancillary fleet
