Running from Beeston to Long Eaton is route 204, mirroring the 203 out of Beeston and through Attenborough before splitting off to Toton and Long Eaton. Although it is indirect from end to end, the 204 provides a link from houses in Beeston, Attenborough, Toton and Long Eaton to a number of local amenities including Attenborough and Long Eaton railway stations, several supermarkets in Beeston, Toton and Long Eaton, two retail parks on the south side of Chilwell, and the town centres of both Beeston and Long Eaton. It runs hourly, Monday to Saturday.

The 204 has been considerably extended since its introduction in 2015, first to Beeston town centre and later from Long Eaton Green to Long Eaton station. Passenger journeys are mostly short and stops frequent as people travel between their homes and the shops or station. The types of bus normally found on this route are small single deckers.
